Job Responsibilities:
- Be a key member of the CPU HW verification team
- Be responsible for leading the verification activities of a significant part of our CPU microarchitecture
- Be responsible for defining the verification strategy and architecture of specific CPU components and sub-systems 2
- Be responsible for driving the definition of component/sub-system verification plan, testbench architecture, implementation, metrics reporting and sign-off as per the appropriate quality targets
- Collaborate with other key engineers to ensure completeness and quality of our verification strategy
- Participate in all stages of design specification definition providing feedback from the verification perspective
- Be responsible for the definition, effort estimation and tracking of your own work
- Direct the plan and technical delivery of a small team
- Be able to influence and advance our CPU verification methodology
- Have the opportunity to coach and mentor junior engineers
- Participate in design and verification reviews and recommend improvements
Imagination Recruitment Eligibility Criteria:
- BE/BTech/ME/MTech or equivalent
Imagination Recruitment Preferred skill:
- Knowledge of CPU/GPU architecture
- Knowledge of standard bus protocols (e.g., AMBA5 CHI, AMBA4 ACE or AXI)
- Experience in wider verification technologies, such formal property-based verification and code mutation
- Knowledge of C and/or SystemC
- Understanding of functional safety standards such as ISO26262
